DRIVER'S EDUCATION

 

New Requirements: Students are required to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of observation/driving. Students must be 15 years of age before October 1, 2013.

• June 3-6, 2013, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

• 8 hours driving session will be scheduled on an individual basis during June and July

• Must be 15 years old before March 15, 2013

• Fee - $400, payable upon registration or in two installments ($200 w/registration in March and $200 by May 21, 2013)

•      Deadline for registration and full payment is May 21, 2013

•      Limited to 1st 50 paid registrants

Teurlings Catholic has built a proud “Tradition of Excellence” at Rebel Field, winning 5 state titles in our program’s storied history.

  

Attending one of our instructional camps is a great way for your son to learn and develop sound fundamentals that will help him to succeed on the diamond, but more importantly in the game of life.    

 

The Building Champions Baseball camp will form a lasting memory in your son’s heart and mind.  16 of 18 players on our current varsity roster attended our camp prior to high school!

Volleyball

 

The "Rebel Volleyball Academy" was designed with the intention of teaching fundamental volleyball skills at an early age. The camp is open to players entering 5th - 8th grades during the 2013-2014 school year. The techniques taught are the same techniques that are employed by the lady Rebel Volleyball Teams and are a great foundation for volleyball players at any level. Concessions will be sold.

• 1st Session: June 10-13, 2013 (9am to noon)

• 2nd Session: June 24-27, 2013 (9am to noon)

•      3rd Session: July 15-16, 2013 (9am to noon)

• Cost: $110 for Sessions 1 & 2, $65 for Session 3

7th Annual Diggin' in the Dome

Developing volleyball skills one player at a time.

 

Directed by Pilar Burson, current assistant volleyball coach for Episcopal School of Acadiana, LAVB coach and Head Master for LAVB Fall and Spring training sessions, and former head volleyball coach for Teurlings Catholic. Other instructors will include former and current Teurlings players and college athletes.

2013 Ragin' Cajun Sports Science Camp

Ages: For students entering 3rd - 8th grade.

 

What:  The Science and Sports Camp will provide a unique summer experience by combining fun, age appropriate science activities in the morning with Sports in the afternoon. The Science portion be being taught by Teurlings High School Science Teacher Lauren Schomaker. Afternoon events will include soccer, swimming, and a focus on tennis with the UL Head Men's Tennis Coach Mark Jeffrey. For Students entering grades 3rd-8th. Campers will need to bring a small bag with Towel, Swimming Attire, Sunscreen and hat enclosed.

 

Where: All drop off and pickups will be at the Ragin' Cajun Tennis courts.

- AM camp drop off is 7:30AM and pickup is 11:30AM for AM Camp at the Ragin’ Cajun Tennis courts. 
- PM camp drop off is at 12:00PM(noon) and pickup at 4:00PM at the Ragin’ Cajun Tennis courts.
- All Day Camp will run from 8:00AM-4:00PM with drop off in the at 7:30AM and pickup at 4:00pm at the Ragin’ Cajun Tennis courts.

 

Lunch:  Campers can bring their own lunch or order lunch in the morning.  Lunch will be ordered when they arrive at 7:30AM.  Lunch will be $7.00 and ready for the campers at 11:30AM.  Payment must be received to order.

Half Day and Full Day Costs and Info:  Full Day Camp $189.00, Half Day Camp $150.00.  Half Day can be AM or PM.

 

A $50 nonrefundable cancelation fee is included in each of the registration fees.  The last day for any refunds without a physician's excuse is the Wednesday before each camp starts. 

 

What to bring each day: tennis racket, tennis shoes, swimming attire, towel and a change of clothes to put on after swimming.  Lunch if you're not purchasing at camp.
